Therapeutic Laser

The laser is an amazing instrument, and I started using one way back in 1986 before lasers were commonly used. That device helped a lot of patients with their pain, although we didn't fully understand why.
Since then there has been a lot of research on lasers and their effects on the human body. What they've discovered is that differing wavelengths generated by the laser can have unique effects,
An IMPORTANT thing to understand is the wavelength of the laser is what matters, not the "power" of the beam.
The MicroLight corporation patented the 830nm wavelength laser because they found it had the greatest effect for pain relief while being completely safe. I started using it several years ago and have had some wonderful results with patients, especially with those who had some unresponsive problems.

In this "classic" video Dr. Rik explains how this laser works:
Here is a graphic showing how this laser penetrates approximately 5cm (very deep) into the tissues. The 3 invisible 830nm beams penetrate into areas not safely reachable by other wavelengths:

Since recording the above video a number of years ago, much more research has come to light. Perhaps the most amazing discovery is that a laser wavelength stimulates the mitochondria of the cells which are the power-generating entities inside virtually every cell, and are so incredibly important in health, longevity, and aging.
These cellular structures are inherited from your mother's genes and when harmed or damaged they slow down or shut off entirely (there are some excellent supplements I recommend to my patients as well) and by stimulating the mitochondria in the cells struck by its laser beam it decreases inflammation and swelling because the cells awaken and go to work.
Multiple clinical studies have noted the following results:
-
Increased collagen production
-
Enhanced nerve regeneration
-
Increased vasodilation
-
Reduced inflammatory duration
-
Increased cell metabolism
-
Increased pain threshold
-
Increased cell membrane potential
-
Reduced edema magnitude
-
Increased microcirculation
-
Increased tissue and bone repair
-
Increased lymphatic response
-
Increased enzyme response
Come in and see for yourself if our laser therapy can help you with your chronic or acute pain and swelling, and help speed up the healing process with whatever nagging condition you may have, especially those that don't seem to respond to other treatments.
